Trevor Prout

Trevor is the director of The Tendring Osteopaths and has been working at The Virgin Active Health Club in Brentwood since 2005 where he treats a variety of sports related conditions. Trevor also has clinics in The Tendring area of Essex.

Prior to completing his degree in Osteopathy at The College of Osteopaths Trevor had successfully completed the Diploma in the Treatment and Management of Injury through the Football Association Medical Education Centre. He gained experience working with local football teams and running clubs where he was able to use his skills in massage, sports massage, and sports injuries.

Trevor had continued his development as an osteopath completing course in acupuncture, scenar therapy, laser therapy, gait analysis and more recently muscle activation.

This has led him to include modern technology to help assess and treat his clients of all ages. He continues to follow the advances and research on biomechanics and movement. He has a vast experience from seeing the more sporty client to the senior citizens, all of which can be helped with osteopathy.

Lorraine Scates

Lorraine graduated from the British School of Osteopathy having completed the four-year Masters of Osteopathy (M.Ost) degree. She has a structural approach to treatment, and has experience of treating a wide variety of conditions and musculoskeletal problems. Lorraine’s interests lie in treating the person as a whole, understanding the pressures that have brought the patient to the clinic. Lorraine has gained a wealth of experience in treating sports related injuries and has worked amateur and elite athletes return to sports after injury.

Lorraine is experienced in treating people from all walks of life and understands the stresses and strains that modern life can put upon the human body, and our need to find health in order to function in our daily lives. Her knowledge uniquely informs her approach to treatment, advice and rehabilitation, recognising that we need practical solutions to return to our best health. Lorraine has completed several post-graduate courses in treating animals osteopathically and has recently undertaken study at Masters level in this highly specialised area.


Chiara Paolillo 

D.O. B.Sc (Hons ) Ost                                                                                                                                             Chira is an Italian Osteopath who qualified at Istituto Superiore di  Osteopatia in Milan. Chiara  passion in sport has led her to take a keen interest in sportive osteopathy and its role in preventing trauma as well as improving athletic performance. Chiara has performed osteopathic techniques on patients  in a hospital to supplement medical care to help minimize the side effects from their treatments and damage by being bedridden. Chiara is looking forward to treating the members at the Virgin Active  Club Clearview and their families and friends
